IT Helpdesk Support Specialist

Primary responsibilities include:
- Helpdesk support - assisting end users with trouble calls and resolving issues
- Troubleshooting basic operating system problems (Windows XP, Windows 7, 2000, 98/95, NT)
- Creating and tracking service tickets
- Setting up workstations
- Shipping / Receiving of product
- Dispatching technicians
- Maintaining client equipment
- Provide on-site and depot desktop, notebook, and printer warranty/post-warranty repairs
- Installing and configuring hardware options in servers, desktops, notebooks and printers (CDROM, hard drive, memory, sound card, NIC, array controller, sheet feeder, etc.)
- Obtain hardware certifications as directed by Team Lead
Qualifications required include:
- Minimum 2 years of related helpdesk experience
- A+ certification required
- Strong understanding of computers, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot
- Professional communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Neat and professional appearance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Maintain a professional work area
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Candidate must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license for offsite support
